Dennis has more than 50 years experience as a public health engineer and consultant in wastewater treatment, with particular expertise in the field of optimizing resource recovery from waste. He founded VOW Resources, an organic waste management and resource recovery company in Terre Haute, Ind., and currently serves as serves as the company’s Technical Director-Global. VOW operates facilities in the United States, United Kingdom, Europe, Asia, and Australia. He invented the Viable Organic Waste (VOW) process, a total recovery and zero waste treatment system, based on bioaugmentation, that yields energy as biogas (methane) and organic fertilizer, single cell protein for aquaculture and animal feed, and recyclable water. Evers holds a bachelor’s degree in Public Health Engineering from the Birmingham College of Advanced Technology in Birmingham, England, and he has been named Fellow of Royal Society of Health and Fellow of the Institute of Water and Environmental Management.
